Thanks, Brandy! Your comment about needing a re-listen is pretty common with Band-Maid songs. I can't tell you the number of times I found a song to be good on an initial listen, and then upon repeat listens, all of a sudden it's my #1 jam. Something about the way the internal composition starts to pop into 3D and changes your view on everything.

More peeks into an important, transformational group known as Band-Maid. Three things I think new fans will find fascinating with this group; 1) the deeper you dig, the more you'll appreciate the members authenticity, writing and musical sensibilities; 2) your favorite song will generally be the one you're currently listening to. Note: This is a distinctive phenomenon with Band-Maid. For example, listen to "Moratorium" and then “Puzzle. Which is your favorite?; and 3) why does it seem they have no bad songs? Band-Maid has plenty of bad songs, according to one of their interviews. It's just that they threw them all in the dumpster and only released 140 or so of their most awesome songs. This disciplined integrity is one of the things that keeps them at the top of the rock pile. Thx, Brandy!

Thinking you need to hear this more times before final judgment is spot on. Band Maid songs typically have so many layers and slightly hidden details that a first listen is like a first date. I promise that if you listen to this song now and then over the next few weeks, it will launch to the top of your playlist. I speak from experience. There have been many Maid songs that were just “meh” for me at first, (like this one) but now are beloved ❤ There’s also a stripped down acoustic version that you might enjoy in your free time. Thanks for keeping the Maids in rotation 💐

Brandy, You need to watch a cover of Bestie/Band Maid. A group of 11-15 Filipino kids called Missioned Souls. They r the best rock group of teenage and pre teen musicians and they all happen to be from the same family. A boy drummer and his three sisters on guitars. I dare you to watch it and not say WOW!!
