I had cheap toy versions of the sphere over 30 years ago. Without the weight to keep it upright it creates a neat effect where the exterior ball spins sooner and faster than the interior ball, then stops later. It is a neat demonstration of friction and momentum.

Got one of the cheaper ones, with incl. 25% EUVAT and delivery for 22 £. that does use electrimagnet and totally silent... runs on battery with TYpe C input and touch area and imitate a light tree look.. It smaller then the orig. and it can not manage many balls... if there is more then 2 balls and they come just after each other the electromagnet simply cant react fast enough.. there is a small opening in the side that look to be an opening to a screw likely potentiometer... though havent turn it yet, as it works perfectly with 1 or 2 balls... love the concept. if I run it with 1 balls and that ball lands in the hole two times after each other. it get so much momentum that it jumps over the metal fence..'' with the price in mind.. I love it... works really good and very silent.. no noise at all.. amazing machine the org creator in Vietnam have build, though the org price is out of my reach and what I could spend for a gadget. the org. is bigger and way better quality build, so if you have the funds, that is the one to go for.

But that's just it. It's a machine and it's not perpetual. It's a machine driven by magnets. Perpetual means not driven by anything. There's only three things on this earth that are perpetual And that's the, the sun, the moon and the stars. As for the earth, it's stationary, flat under a dome and does not move, rotate nor spin. But we humans we're not perpetual. We can create babies to carry on our genealogy but it ends there. We go back to dust and ashes and everything we create does the same thing. But the things that God creates goes on forever and ever and ever.
