Realyy intriguing powder rooms! I at least have continued the "wood" (vinyl plank) into the powder room.

Timely. I’ve got 2 weeks to polish up my two new bathroom designs. Both will be 3 piece, but in one the tub is for guests and in a different part of the house. Tricky. You’ve changed my mind on several points today, especially the wall mounted faucets. That’s a really important point. Thanks so so much!

Love your videos. My one pet peeve about powder rooms is the lack of disposable napkins. They are so cheap on Amazon. I dont want to wipe my hand on others' towels. Some have mini towels, and those are nice too---but prefer the disposable ones. And a cream pump---along with the soap pump would also be nice. I know these maynot look nice, but guests will remember these rather than mirrors-----just saying. Thus shelf space is a necessity.

Wow, gorgeous ideas, thank you. The last photo of your fave room… do you have a photo of the entire space? That idea of mirror offset is cool; wondering if that’s a pure artistic idea &/or a functional purpose. My powder room has the sq ft to do that.

So, helpful, you have given me so much food for thought! Question, any ideas for powder rooms where the sink is beside the toilet? I have a powder room that is fairly small and square, sink and toilet is on the left on one wall. How would you emphasize the sink and black walls an “minimize” the toilet? Thanks again for your inspiring ideas and tips!

Love it! You validated every decision I made in our powder room. I made my husband watch too. Lol. I put in a mural, pedestal sink, cabinet vanity, with touches of black here and there. You are the best. Merci!

Hi. Thank you for sharing these helpful design tips. Unfortunately, we are now moving to a condo which only has 2 full bathrooms. Please share some design ideas on how to work around those big columns in high rise condominium apartments. These columns create a very awkward space and becomes a big dilemma in furniture placement, whether you utilize the space as your dining or living room. Also, can you interchange the living room area with the dining room? Usually, the floor plan already has a designated living room and dining room idea. Thank you. :)

Hmmm...we put a shower in the PWD room for guests; but it is rarely used so the wood floor is tempting.

In the Netherlands, we have this itsy bitsy tiny square room with a toilet and a minuscule floating sink. I wonder if applying wallpaper will be a bit too much. We need your opinion if you happen to see this. Thx! ☺️

Wood floors are beautiful but not practical when you have a leak, whether it's the toilet overflowing or the plumbing. I have multiple experiences... sadly 😥
@Designchickee Жыл бұрын
Water leaks are always going to be damaging... even tile floors can be damaged by water (leaks can loosen grout, delaminate your tile from the subfloor - which is usually wood - and the subfloor itself can be damaged). At the end of the day... water is always a problem. But hopefully in a powder room, the chances of a leak are less than in your main bathroom with a full shower and/or tub. The best thing to do... home insurance covering water damage and ALWAYS use a professional plumber. :)
