Безусловно компания номер 1, всякие там kuka, haas, kemppi и другие загибаются(от смеха). Самые передовые технологии(каменного века). Парни даже не в курсе что обычный уголок, рядом с трансформаторной сталью, понижает кпд и вносит ряд других негативных факторов, но при таком подходе это меньшая из проблем. 250 ампер, даже на 40 вольтах, это 10 киловатт. При каждом 1% потерь сверху - это всего-то 100 ватт. Хорошо если общий показатель около 80%. PS Надо было писать что-то вроде CAUTION ! DO NOT BUY ! И на наклейке надо было не первый, а средний палец в верх показывать 😆

I have seen this type of welding machine, trust me it works perfectly and last longer than the new capacitor electronic welding machines. This one's has more endurance than the new electronic ones and their control knob are marvelous and takes ages before it spoils, luckily for me i have some in my workplace and it is over 40 yrs and currently I am 27 yrs old now. It doesn't overheat much due to the air cooled system. It is a very great honor to finally know how it is been made.❤❤❤❤ Great design and nobody should critize this machine without using them, great master piece.

ya...unless its input exceeds the recommended (240v) it will mostly outlive 5 generations because it is just a bunch of wires on a metal core.

Just bought a 50-years old 9 KVA arc welder today, made in Austria. The case is thick cast aluminium. It is lighter than I thought, probably less than 30kg, I wonder if the windings are aluminium rather than copper.

Раз 10 был на экстремальных нагрузках (сварка 4кой) ,на больших токах, на тройке можно варить днями...Вес 20кг +- Размер компактный. Регулирую и по первичке и по вторичке. I must say, as far as these locally-built low-tech welding transformers made in India and Pakistan go, this is likely the best executed version of the design that I've seen on KZbin so far and the least likely to go up in flames. I'm not sure though why they are determined to use cotton insulation in these things (unless it's white asbestos textile... ☠️) or why there's no circuit protection, but I do worry that the rotary switch is likely to short out over time due to arcing. I would have kept the power switch separate to the turn selector.

More than likely asbestos. These do work for many years. The shell goes bad after few years of being banged around. So then they remove the transformer and use it standalone without any shell. Also these are hooked directly to the mains feed before the meter so they can weld with basically free electricity 😂 1hr 2hr of use won't trigger any power company inspection.

compared with fiber glass insulation or insulation-coated wire, the cotton insulated wire has probably the lowest cost as cotton and aluminum are easy to obtain locally, and the insulation varnish can penetrate into the cotton fiber for both providing extra insulation and bonding the windings together as a whole
