Honestly. They did nothing wrong, the crew made the wrong turn. It’s an accident, yes, but not theirs, so why are they punished?

This was my favorite team for SURE! The term “superfan” is often over-used these days in reality shows, so seeing Danny really do it justice made it so easy to root for them this season. I completely agree with other comments that I wish they had made this a NEL. Really hoping TAR brings them back for another season since this was, not only completely unprecedented, but not their fault in any way. Keeping my fingers crossed🙏

This seems so unfair, their crew turned as they were still in the roundabout?!?! It wasn’t even their fault AT ALL…they should not have had to wait because their crew went a different way from them and then got lost.

This is what TAR gets for removing non-elimination legs. Bad outcomes like this. I know they thought they had it figured out enough to cut out NEL’s but something can always happen. This is proof that there should always be just one available and burn it at final 5 if you don’t need to claim it sooner for an error

I didn't think I was going to like Angie and Danny at first but they ended up becoming one of my favorite teams on the show in a long time. They were just so much fun to watch, especially when you started to see Angie get into race mode more. It's unfortunate what happened on their last leg, but if they're in good spirits and enjoyed their time I don't see any good reason why others should be mad about it. Sometimes life doesn't go they way you want. They way they handled it then and the way they speak of it now should be a lesson to us all about how to deal with such moments.

This is BEYOND frustrating. The fact that they’re so upbeat and positive is amazing. Obviously they don’t want to sound bitter and ruin a shot at returning [and there’s nothing they can do about it now] but I don’t think I could do the same.

ok - i don't get it. why not double back and reconnect with the crew and lead them to the next task? and... if the local driver of the crew did not know where long beach was - didn't they all have GPS enabled phones? How did the crew feel having let you down in this fashion? I think the fair ending would have been to make this a non-elimination leg due to crew navigational deficiencies... - then have a double elimination next week

Doubling back to reconnect with the crew would’ve led to a wild goose chase. Danny & Angie was smart to go to the challenge where production would be and the other crew could be contacted via phone call.

@@esthernegron9468 why then would it take 1.5 hours for the crew to get there? the driver was lost. danny was not lost. the crew should have stopped - then danny would have found them. and then danny coulda led them to the challenge location... - this minimizes the effect of the incompetent driver

I'm glad Production did not edit it so it looked like they just ended up getting lost and losing. However, seems like they should have let them start the challenge with another crew filming them. Hope they will come back. They are a class act and family!
