Tristan, first off, beautiful creek and really nice fish! What I wanted to say is how much I appreciate all of your commentary. It both personalizes the video and educates us so much. I still have yet to Tenkara fish, although I’m heading that way. But I feel like a pro after following you over time. Thank you so much!

That's nice of you to say. I started making videos like this because it's what I wanted to watch, and they didn't really exist. It's great when others feel the same!

Ah, the lengths of those trout (7-12") and the precariousness of the creek boulders! *sigh* wish I could still clamber over the rocks like that! Vicarious enjoyment lifts me up, though.

I'd really like a video where you compare several very compact rods that are best for backpacking or travel. You could do it from the comfort of your home, too.

What a great place, fantastic scenery. It always surprises me how different USA and UK english is. Over here a creek is a tidal inlet on the coast, we'd call that a stream or small river. Its also fascinating that you Americans measure your fish, here in England we always weigh them to decide how big they are. Enjoyed the video.

Amazing creek! In my country, finding good trout creeks is very hard... I remember my first trout was a beautiful and colorful 4 incher from a small creek along a national road....

@TenkaraAddict11 ай бұрын
Wyoming. If I ever don't mention it in the video, it's always listed in the video description 👍
@briancooper273711 ай бұрын
My first thought is how much do the soft sections cost and how hard are they to swap out? In my situation, warm water tenkara, the occasional bass hits the fly while I'm fishing and having some extra backbone is not a bad thing. Still when I am targeting smaller fish the softer feel would be nice too. Nice video man, keep'em coming.
