That was me. I finally took the plunge yesterday. I think all artists do that but in my case I was worried about the mess because I seem to get paint everywhere at the best of times. Runny paint like this was a disaster waiting to happen in my mind. It's fear of the unknown, fear of messing it up. But at the end of the day, what's the worst that can happen? If it looks bad, scrape the paint off into an old take away container, and start again. At worst you've wasted a bit of paint, but you've still learned something in the process.

Never painted before in my life... but after watching your videos during the COVID-19 lockdown I felt inspired. Inspired to create whilst I self Isolate. Finally after a week or so of ordering canvas, acrylics, pouring mediums and silicone oil all arrived. I have mixed my paints and I am ready to paint tomorrow for the first time ever!!!
