Not only visually stunning and is absolutely perfectly adapted from the already dark and beautiful artwork from the manga by WIT and MAPPA studios, but it is also audibly masterful. Studio WIT really gave us stellar 3 seasons. Their both ODM and titans had fluid hand drawn animation, the shading and gloss were one of the best, the character designs by Kyoji Asano kept evolving and inspired Isayama himself. Their special make up team elevated source material to next level. A studio with short members under hellish production schedule always delivered. They had shortcomings as seasons went on yet they always delivered and kept the consistency to max. I am not undermining Mappa aot staff working hard on S4 but previous seasons were something else and I always will be grateful for them. Studio WIT continues to deliver with shows like Vivy, Ousama and now Spy x Family. I wish they were here for S4 but greedy production committee made it impossible for them to. Thank you and I am truly grateful for the legacy they gave us with incredible 3 seasons. Thank you WIT. I will always remain a fan.

This truly is the greatest an anime can get. Attack on titan is a minimum 10/10. I've never seen an anime that has made me genuinely think this way. Attack on titan has every right to be crowned as the new big 3.

My favourite anime shot is Eren pointing at his ‘enemies’ across the ocean. In the manga it’s between the Warhammer titan’s transformation in front of Eren and Yelena underneath the crashing blimps in Shiganshina.

Mappa is better at rumbling

@@animemon2249 I love, love, love MAPPA and WIT and the way they both handled the show but your comment really makes no sense. WIT wasn’t even the studio handling the show during season 4 so you can’t just say MAPPA automatically does it better. I’m sure WIT would’ve done just as good of a job except for the cgi colossal titans because everyone knows that unfortunately WIT’s cgi is pretty bad.

Man every kino shot, the ODM tribute at the end, the OST remixes for the Sawano and Yamamoto tracks This is exactly what the doctor ordered Very few anime can boast having one source material be given two peak adaptations. WIT and MAPPA have served the anime fans far more than we thank them for And thank you for compiling them Sad though that the last episode only came out today because there were SO many great shots that could make it here, especially that cinematic final scene

@@binjamin6770 I agree that the average overall quality of MAPPA's AoT animation is lacking overall compared to WIT, but I think this is from mismanagement as opposed to the animators being lazy, which I think is untrue. But what frustrates me almost as much are the people who try to cope by framing it like "yeah WIT has better 2D animation but worse 3D animation", which is kind of true but is very misleading since 99% of WIT's adaptation is 2D...

When it comes to angles, scenery, animation, *Wit studio* really never misses to that. *Mappa’s* adaptation really did well recreating isayama’s new art style. Let us thank Wit studio for helping Isayama with improving his art and gaining his confidence, Let’s also thank Mappa for continuing s4 for us, their quality may not match like Wit Studio’s, at least they are doing their best. And Mappa’s animation in the part 2 really improved thanks to the help of the *ex-animator of Wit studio* (also known as the director of Vinland Saga) to help them understand how ODM gears work.
@zodius962 жыл бұрын
The director of Vinland Saga did not help them understand how ODM gears works, lol. The only thing he contributed for season 4 is the PV trailer.
