The music, oh that music... It gets me everytime, absolutely triumphant and heartwarming; it brings a smile to my face and upliftment to my soul. Thank you for the choice of music here, it is absolutely perfect and best represents the journey we are taken on on in these movies. You did a fantastic job showcasing the visual splendor of rhe series - the cinematography, the aesthetics of these films, will forever be incredible. There is such a nostalgic architecture to the world of Indiana Jones, a warm, exciting and encapsulating escapism. What a wonderful, masterful, classic tetralogy of films, and even the fifth film here and there still has that iconic Indy charm and magic. Truly, for me, the most brilliant action adventure film series of all time. From my childhood all the way to today, these films will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you George, thank you Philip, thank you Steven, and thank you AmazingShots for giving these beautiful films visual justice!

You know, if you notice, in the fifth movie is the first time that Indy is left with the artifact he was looking for.

There was the cross in Crusade. But you are correct, and it's a nice way to end the film with Jones finally getting his artifacts, especially one that allowed him to see the history he loved. Dial of Destiny, in my opinion, is the best depiction of his love for artifacts and ancient history. The train chase to save everything; Helena sparking his enthusiasm for history during the classroom scene; him using his knowledge after coming to a truce with Helena in Tangiers; and his willingness to wanting to witness a sliver of that first hand.

Lucas was indeed right, but it took Steven and a bunch of talented people to realize that idea in spades. Lucas is a hit or miss idea guy, and Indiana Jones is great on paper. But it needed polish, and that's what the crew around him did.

@@maurenovick I do indeed recommend seeing it and forming your own opinion. Critics may have bashed it, but audiences loved it. And to me, it was a much better film and ending than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (though I do enjoy all the Indiana Jones films).

Dial of Destiny is phenomenal, and makes up for Crystal Skull. Now Skull is considered the ONLY low point in the franchise. The trilogy, Dial and the young Indy series are all top notch.

i liked the entire movie but the ending wasnt as satistfying as i had hoped. They confirmed SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSS time travel so it wouldve been sweet and emotional if he woke up and his son was there togheter with Marion. To give them a beauiful ending.

Indiana Jones and the Monkey King In 1985, Columbus wrote a script for a third Indiana Jones film entitled Indiana Jones and the Monkey King. Columbus' script included Indy taking a trip with his assistant Betsy to a secret city protected by soldier gorillas and governed by the evil Monkey King. According to Columbus, the script was written so that the story didn't appear too similar to the previous film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. However, at the end, Columbus' script was rejected and the film was finally released in 1989 under the title Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and directed by Steven Spielberg. In 2017, Columbus' script was adapted into a five-part live reading/audio drama on the Alcohollywood podcast.
