Nice David I was out on the 19th anchored fishing one pole for shad one for Salmon hooked a Salmon on my shad gear light line had him by the boat and spit the hook later had a take down did not stay with it was a great day. Enjoy your videos maybe will see you out in the water someday.

Can someone help me out here. I thought the season was closed this year in CA, OR, WA?

Jacob, the season you're speaking of is Ocean fishing South of Cape Falcon. That is currently closed for Chinook salmon. We're fishing on the Willamette river. The Willamette is open through December 31 and the Columbia opens and closes on announced regulation schedules.
