Definitely leave the Squier decal on! It makes it a sleeper. Imagine grandma's Buick that's been tuned up..... except there's no outward appearance of a hotrod.

Yeah, that was kind of what I felt at that moment of truth... Squier is actually much more respected than many people think... Just a certain camp of people are still hold-outs and scrutinize the brand very too heavily... I was one of them, but now it just enjoy Squier guitars so much! Didn't know what I was missing (they're so much fun to mod)... Thanks for watching!

After I finish my Guitar Fetish build I'm going to start another one. I've been planning a white body and blue pickguard for awhile. Now I know sort of how good it will look. The pickguard I have coming from AliExpress is a hum-single and a little lighter shade of blue. I'll be getting white pickups. Not sure if I'll go with a blue Floyd Rose (Their "Special Vibe" series) or red. I have blue and white Guyker Dopamine colored tuners saved in the shopping cart on their site and just got a pair of blue anodized strap pins from Forney Custom Guitar & Amp Products on Reverb. They also do jack plates, volume / tone knobs and switch tips. Still trying to decide if I want to just do blue and white, or red, white and blue guitar. Yours looks great with that pickguard.

Greetings Joe! Thanks for your input... Yes indeed, this is so satisfying to match up the things that we really like in combinations that just don't come stock... After doing a few builds now, I'm hooked! I have a few other things on the slate for the next build(s) and I realize that anything is possible... The sky is the limit! Thanks for watching!
