All Quiet in the Trenches is a single player anti-war game for PC. In the game, you're playing as a German Unteroffizier - a sergeant - on the Western Front of World War One. You're responsible for a handful of soldiers and have to make meaningful decisions. You lead them in battle trying to strike a precarious balance between the ambitions of your superiors and the survival of your men. Your actions will not change the war. They will however change the lives of your soldiers. You cannot win, but maybe they can survive.

Yes, you only play the Germans and per the information on the website there are no plans to change that. It really doesn't feel anything like XCOM2 to me if I'm being honest. But that doesn't make it a bad game either. It's pretty nice!
