Siyeon's mother is a voice actress who does children's cartoons. Siyeon practices her child voices with her and she's a natural mimic anyway. I think Handong is the only member who doesn't need glasses. The others either wear real glasses when they don't have their contacts in, or just empty frames when they do as an image thing.

Siyeon is my co-bias with Dami. I love this weird, always confused talented and beautiful Wolfie. I love her vibrato. I love her belts/high notes, but her softer range just kills me too. I could listen to her sing all day.. Siyeon, give me a mini album or even a single with more then one track. Dongie.. she has been coming for me since she returned in Odd Eye.. She love to wreak my biases and my bias wreckers of Jiu and SuA. I love Dongie’s voice, especially when she sings in Chinese. Yoohyeon and Dongie are together a lot because when Handong first joined Yoohyeon was basically the only member that knew Chinese as she was trying to learn it; so it was nice to Dongie to have someone to speak Chinese with. Now all the members know some amount of Chinese. I do love this savage kitty. If by variety show you mean Dreamcatcher Mind then you can react to it on KZbin or Patreon.. as far as I know no one has gotten in trouble for their KZbin reactions of it. It really shows their personality and the nature of the group off stage. DC Mind, Vlogs and DC Notes. One thing about DC is that their is not shortage of content. Be it in their channel, Insomnicsy or just other places they have done stuff with. DC and Mamamoo are the only girls groups I Stan; I Stan 3 groups- Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher and Monsta X.

Handong and Yoohyeon are the same age (in lunar years) which is why even though Yoohyeon and Dami are the same age (both 1997s), Dami calls Handong, Dong unnie while Yoohyeon calls Handong, Dongie

You're not alone in comparing Siyeon to Hwasa. They really remind me a lot of each other. Siyeon embraces her aegyo though and loves being cute and being called cute while Hwasa leaves the cuteness to Wheein. 😂 Handong's voice really is an audible hug! She has a really chill vibe...but will throw herself in head first if everyone else is clowing. There's another series on insomnicsy's channel called the Chemistry series and it's a fun look at all the friendships. Spoiler: they're all super cute with each other. Siyeon & Dami(SingBin) and SuA & Yoohyeon(SuYoo) are my ult friendships.

Yeah, Handong's Weverse profile picture was out of date and it was a whole thing joked about on Weverse with her. Since she was gone for a year and wasn't there for Scream and BOCA and they use the latest comeback photos, She was stuck with a Deja Vu photo while everyone else was BOCA. So Odd Eye coming out would finally get her a new photo in sync with the rest.

Siyeon can fake helium voice after she obviously didn't inhale any from the balloon; that's when she went from yet another absurdly hot girl with unfair talent to winning me over. She is the funniest member by a mile. Wait til you hear her cozy voice, low and raspy, when she's relaxed just laying down doing a live. Handong had a photo from autumn 2019 for over a year because of missing the comebacks, so in January 2021 she really REALLY wanted a new photo. Handong's voice in general has 5x the resonance of other members which makes her singing lower tones really stand out, and her speaking voice is also amazingly soothing.

The disbandment of MINX's first debut (before they make their re-debut as 'Dreamcatcher') 2. when Handong left Korea and came back to China to participate in a survival program. We didn't know if she was going to come back... in the promotions of Scream and in Boca she wasn't present. (A dancer with a mask took her place because one way or another we expected her return) special request: I would love your reactions to the special clip "POISON LOVE" regarding Dongie and the crush those girls and the whole fandom have for Handong.

Yoohyeon and Handong are definitely together often because when the company brought Handong in from China; Yoohyeon was one of the first ones to really connect cuz she had been learning and got really good at speaking Chinese before Handong arrived

"They call her Dongie or Dongah, so cute..." Her family name is Han, her given name is Dong; they are not dropping part of her name, they are just saying her name. With Korean (and Chinese) names, when speaking with friends or with people lower than you, -이 "-i" is added to the name when talking about them; when calling them, -아 "-a" or -야 "-ya" is added. It is not a nickname.

I'm sure you meant this kindly, but I do know how language surrounding names works in Korean! I was just saying it is a cute sounding name and I like when they use given names instead of stage names because it shows how comfortable members are with each other. :)

Just that we are all used to most idols (at least those who are not using a stage name) using just given names, with rare exceptions (like Billlie's Moon SuA). If someone calls Gahyeon Gahyeon, no-one blinks; if someone calls Dong Dong, a lot of people think it is a nickname, thinking Handong to be her first name, as a lot of both Chinese and Korean given names are disyllabic. Maybe you were already aware of that, but maybe someone else might not be, and I decided to err on the side of education :)

Just as a note on the aegyo songs thing: the Eottokhae song was a tradition started by OMG's Hyojung and while there is definitely sexism in the kpop industry (and just society in general)... this isnt really your best bone to pick lol. They 100% make male idols do aegyo all the time. Is it cringey? Yeah, forced anything is kind of cringey, but natural (or less forced) aegyo is kind of a social skill, you even see it in the compilations of the members you've been watching, they do it to each other to get what they want or to be flirty or whatever. oh trust me I stan a lot of boy groups so I am very aware of the aegyo that they are also forced to do. and as I think I also mentioned, my problem isn't aegyo, because I think that people being cute is just... cute. and I enjoy when people do that because they want to, and regardless of my own opinions they are allowed to do what they want. my point was more about how girl groups are, in my experience of the girl groups I stan, just forced to do it MORE, especially on variety shows. when I see bg's do it, a lot of the time when they're younger they have to do it on variety shows, but later in their careers, it's just their members egging them on. all this to say, as you said, sexism exists regardless of this fact, it has just been something I've noticed over the years and that's why I said it. it is not even necessarily directed at DC, because I don't know enough of their content to speak on it, it was just something that popped into my mind. I hope that clears anything up :)
