The top of the table is not smooth and straight so I guess you can't put glasses or delicate objects on the table and also when it gets rain will remain some water/waterlogged over there.

As per my experience, cement once hardened can never be joined by the cement... Coz i tried doing this n it got crumbled it wasnt able to hold a grip on the previously hard dried cement... Idk how this happened or if i did some mistake.
