Hello. You need a toothless bucket on that Hitachi then you can clean the dock efficiently and scrape down the insides of the hopper. A used bucket doesn’t cost much plus it will be more efficient. I am hooked on this channel. Thank you for sharing. ❤

I love watching this crusher in action. It's too bad I spend most of my time screaming at the guy cleaning the hopper with a tooth pic. Please, someone at this site, get a bucket or small scraper on the end of that machine and go across the grain starting from the bottom. Gravity will feed the material if you scrape the blockage from under the buildup. Just go left and right starting from the bottom......

I imagine they don't have buckets at the mine - they probably don't need them. Even if they did, switching over from a hydraulic attachment probably takes too much time. But holy moley, it seems painfully obvious to draw side to side starting from the bottom.

Ugga dugga on the ramp. When he would tap the retaining wall for the trucks backing up. Just the vibration released some sand. Gently use rock breaker on the reinforced plates of the ramp. I really think that would work. Thanks for the ASMR.

Just a suggestion - Have your fab shop guys build a cleaning implement using a ripper shank from a dozer and quick coupler for the track hoe. Using that hydraulic hammer as a cleaning scraper is going to eventually damage it.

So in all their experience and with all their tools, this is the best they could come up with? I would find something softer and work it from side to side from the bottom up so the tiles are not damaged. The next hopper they build should have more of a slope and slippery walls to help prevent that build up.

Such terrible technique, why have they no vibrators bolted to the sides of the skips. this was so painful to watch. Yet when I first came to Sweden, I had to take what job was going and one was at the local Cement factory, when the cement got stuck in the silos, we took turns climbing into them with a shovel and holding on with one hand, banged the sides with it. Needless to say, it was cement dust, not too healthy. Two workers died in that over the one year I was there.
