Thanks for covering The Sixsters! They are so good, every song unique and well-played. Anna has some shorts on social media that are mind-blowing, she is truly a guitar virtuoso.

I'm really looking forward to it! From their comment above, it looks like The Sixsters watch your reactions too. 😀 Another good study in contrasts would be "City", in your face punkish, and "Happiness", which expresses the anger, frustration, and sense of hopelessness they feel as a result of the war. "I'm still alive and it upsets me...I try to escape but I just can't run away. Happiness is foreign ." There's a live version, but I think the video had a much better mix and has more of an impact.

Love the Sixsters. Been listening to them for over 3 years now. Ages 14 to 18 in this video. Its hard to describe their music as anything but Rock because every song is different. I even really enjoy their older material with Ukrainian lyrics.

Thanks for reacting to The Sixsters! This is a very young band (they are not real sisters and they were six before all that happened in their homeland). The Band was created by Kateryna Kuziakina (a self-taught and internationally award-winning drummer) in 2018, in a small town in Kyiv region, Ukraine. Over a period of four years, the band participated in the Ukrainian rock scene. In 2022, the Russian invasion of Ukraine significantly impacted the band members' lives. Some members left the country early on, while others sought refuge in bomb shelters amidst the conflict. The band members found themselves dispersed across different countries. Despite the uncertainty of the situation, each member held onto the hope of reuniting with the band. Later in 2022, the members of The Sixsters managed to reunite in Essen, Germany. The band has stated their intent to use their music to raise awareness about the situation in their homeland. From then on, the band began to perform in Germany, becoming known, which led them to participate this year in the Glastonbury festival (UK) and some concerts in Essen and nearby locations. The Sixsters don't play covers, just their own songs in Ukrainian and more recently in English. Here is a song Я стою посеред міста (I am standing in the middle of the city) played live at STADTHALLE WETZLAR, Essen-Germany: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXOpXqSghJJ6sKs

I found them five years ago (about the same time I found The Warning) and have been following them ever since. To find their work you can access their KZbin channel www.youtube.com/@TheSixsters. Also last January they played a live show in Germany at the Wetzlarer Stadthalle, Essen, to raise money for children in Ukraine. If you want to see some live songs from this show, there are 20 songs (the full show) in this Playlist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHqZaGmvf7Nqjbs Thanks for your help, these girls really need all the exposure they can get! Greetings from Portugal!

Hey there. I've been wanting to hear more from them. Other bands and performers have come up, but I will make sure to add them to the list this Sunday. I record the reactions on Sunday.

What ever music you like- this is just f'n cool as all hell. Early videos show six members as suggested by the name but now only five members?
