Dan can do no wrong but if you want to see one that Dan himself calls cringe, check out the very first video on his channel. It's the Dragon Force singer audition video. He was 20 years old when he did it. He left it up so everyone could see where he started. This is before vocal training and is very raw. Knowing where he is now with his voice and presence, you can appreciate his hard work to get to where he is now.

Thank you for your support and great response to this wonderful cover by Dan. He clearly enjoyed what he was singing. I also enjoy listening to Dan's older versions. How does Dan do it, you ask? Easy: he loved the music, learned how to sing and then took time to develop his voice to do all of this without destroying his vocals. In the process he also developed a sense for the theatrical and also the ability that we know all so well of being able to transform a song into something "more". Dan update: he was recently on Eric July's podcast: rippaverse (or whatever it is he calls it) and they were talking about various things, not least of which was what Dan is doing in the near future. Be on the lookout for a new Bon Jovi cover, and based upon what Dan said on the podcast, a commenter guessed that it might be Blaze of Glory. Also, after the bet Dan has with Gary (Nerdrotics), we can expect a Manowar tribute album and a musical collaboration with Eric July of some sort (shh it's all hush hush for now lol). I've heard rumors that Garrett J Peters will also be part of that collab. Figured that I'd add something more than just 🤩Dan is great! Dan is perfection! Dan can do it all!🤩 😵swoon😵 We get enough of that from everyone else 😜 Hail Vasc Nation! 😎

2:35 You *really* want to hear one where Dan is not at his finest? You’ll have to go back to the very beginning. The first video Dan put on KZbin was his audition to be in the band called Dragonforce. Dan himself says it sucks. He didn’t get the position in the band that he was hoping for. He was trying his best but his voice just wasn’t well trained at that point.(He was 20 then. Now he’s 34. He’s had time to finely hone his vocal skills.) There’s also a few concert style videos in the early days that are just…not my favourites. I’ll leave it at that.

Another great performance from Dan, his covers are all epic and I love them all. He never disappoints, such a talented and skilful artist I don’t think that in the last five years he has a cover that falls below par. I remember seeing his first video on his channel his “Dragon Force” audition tape, he said himself that video sucks but he has left it there to show how much he has improved with his singing because of his hard work, determination and will to succeed. I See Fire is one pretty song. Little Dan's harmonize so beautiful. Loch Lomond is pure nature Dan while walking along the Highland. Priscilla's Song is hauntingly beautiful. I hope you're able to react to them before your end goal arrives. There's also his power Christmas songs. Manowar songs. I haven't found an ugly song by him yet, he does them all spectacularly. Even his Nessum Dorma is delicious. The only one i would consider ugly, would be the one where he puts on his Ghost Voice like the original singer did. He amazingly did the song justice, but unless one knows the story behind it, one would not "get it", & would run away while shaking their head. You'd have to do a dbl feature & play the original song, plus give background info about her choice, & then Dan miraculously carrying the song like the champ he is. That's all im gonna say on that for now. G'night.
