What a gorgeous location, and very cool to see Mark's tent. Lots of beautiful scenery again... you find the best spots! I used to ride a road bike and was not "in the club" either, because I would not wear the spandex or even a helmet (rode on trails in the woods). Cyclists can be a little snooty if you're not in your spandex with a bib with a number on it 🙄). I'd love to have an e-bike now! Great video!!

Awesome video. You found my favorite place to camp, I don’t have a truck camper, I have a Jeep Rubicon Unlimited …. there’s basically no place I cannot go, but I certainly do not have the comforts you do with your setup. I can see some day upgrading to what you have and have always been impressed with Arctic Fox campers. We shall see … thanks for your channel and sharing what you do.

I've noticed even Bikers don't seem to give hand waves anymore either. FINALLY someone that will trim branches a few feet OFF of the trails instead of Right on the Edge or even still on the trail. It's like they couldn't just take two steps more to trim???? Not many people that find a Great spot while already in a spot & take a few minutes to talk to a complete Stranger & let them know of the Great spot they found & have no problem sharing the area. Then Karma comes around & Mark offers to take you to town & share some of his Great Spots. Kenny & @MarkLotz it's people like you two that are Restoring Faith Back into Humanity & Making this a Better World for ALL. Thanks for taking us along. ps Hope you will or did catch some of the Northern Lights I keep hearing about that have been happening up there.

I feel the same way about humanity. 6 months ago I had a pretty gloomy outlook on the human species as a whole. Then I started spending every free minute I had on the road and meet some really nice people. I think the further off the beaten path I get, the more I come in contact with like minded people. Thank you for all the kind words.

Amazing spot. I have a Rad Rover and get the same looks and sometimes a "Oh it's electric" like I'm cheating (I am😁). No spandex and no helmet (gasp). I was looking at at electric chain saw, the ones I looked at require bar oil, I didn't want to mess with that. The Sawzall gets the job done. But it would be really nice to have a pole saw for them high branches.

Wow- WHAT A GREAT FIND!!! Honestly, I was thinking- no way is he gonna get a front row seat on Lac Superior, but- once again, you were right! And, so worth all of the trimming effort required! I thought you were gonna drive on the beach, but- it seems that you found a road in! Glad you make a new friend in Mark, cuz the overlook was also quite a view. But, your campsite- a true jewel of a spot, Kenny! Now you gotta take the lil lady and your daughters out there- they'll LOVE it! However, I think we are running out of season (I notice that you are packing out really often & back to back- so, you're feeling it too!) Thanks for such great trips, really, really enjoying them!
@KennyOfAllTrades3 жыл бұрын
It's going to be ending soon. And unfortunately I have not been able to take any road trips. I'm usually about 4 to 5 videos ahead, but now I'm only two. I might do some winter camping at boat landing. Normally you can not overnight at the boat landings around here. But during the winter it's common for vehicles to be parked all night while people are in their fish houses.
@DCGULL013 жыл бұрын
@@KennyOfAllTrades Well, even parking by boat landings might seem a little 'second rate' compared to the freedom of the last 3 videos produced, right? I mean, I wouldn't be venturing out to the lakeshore mid-Winter, Kenny. It would be too sketch even for you (you rough & tumble kind of guy YOU!) and not worth the risk of damaging the camper, skidding off the road- not even to mention getting stuck somewhere remote for ANY length of time!!! Clearly, crime doesn't sleep, so- you have to work to protect the innocent citizens occasionally, sir. I think your camper is very well insulated, so- I'm sure you can heat it without killing batteries, or, blowing through diesel or propane at prodigious rates. I actually am curious about winter camping, but neither my wife or I love being cold- jes sayin! I think Arizona, New Mexico, Tejas may have some slightly warmer spots with our names on them!
