Wow! I literall6 just got back from a 3-1/2 week trip to Ukraine that ended in Odessa (got back to the US on Dec 8). I wish I had seen your video while I was there, so I could have arranged a trip to Akkerman fortress. Oh well, I love having an excuse to return. ;-)

Hi Luba. Cool Fortress. 3 years ago I was not far from there. I traveled to Romania. To a small city called Turda. Just south of Cluj-Napoca. Was there 1 month to visit a friend. Went to the Salt Mine and hiked the mountains and forests. Love the food there. I had mici from Kaufland parking lot grill and love the Sarmale.

we have a lot of castles around the UK England but never been presented quite the way you have shown us the way they look in the Ukraine at least the weather look good and a new way of presenting with the music I've been to London many times it becomes boring to look at the same Castle we have castles in Birmingham we have castles and Wales Scotland but they do look very dismal dull and boring London is so expensive I'm constantly busy it runs 24-hours a day and the noise level would give you a big headache and cost you a lot more money than you realise just for one day is a week's wage this is why I want to come to live in you you're part of the world in the Ukraine it has all the things I'm looking for in life xxxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry mate, it is one of the oldest fortified Bulgarian fortresses established long before 13th century named Bel(i)grad/Bilhorod/Belgrade/ etc transliterations in the different Slavic languages! The most famous of those is the capital of nowadays Republic of Serbia - Belgrade which was called Alba Bulgarica in the early Middle Ages! Nowadays Berat in Albania was also called Belgrad while bein part of the Bulgarian Empire! All along the borders of the First Bulgarian Empire you can find those Belgrads as a defining borders at that time!
