I love this time of year in the mountains when all of the vegetation has turned green and before the heat and bugs of summer have gotten to it. When the sun shines everything has an emerald glow. I'm like you in that I prefer doing photography rather than video. But, your videos, as well as photography, are excellent.

Hi Adam and thanks for another great video. I am a keen photographer with no interest in video production, but your video footage first got my attention. Now I watch for the photography content. I love the video footage but I’m guessing there is a lot of work involved. I think it might be a good way to attract more attention to your channel, but that’s only a guess. Thanks again for all of your content 😊

Another great video Adam. I do feel that some youtubers focus a lot on b-roll. Fracly... it does not add that much to the content. It is nice to see and it adds to the production value, but in the end it must be a pain to setup a tripod, pass by, go back, take the tripod, set it uf somewhere else, pass by again... I would not have the patience or the motivation to do it. In the end what makes your content great is the photography part of it, and the educational value to put into it. Sharing the though behind the composition, showing the before and after edit that is truly unique, its all that matters. Its great to have some context video, but if you skipped the b-roll part where you are just walking by that I bet consumes quite a bit of your time, we would still be here enjoying your content. Cheers.

My thoughts are echoed by many here. Very happy to see the drone footage back. For other b-roll, I could care less. I don't need to see you walking down a path, making a cup of tea or putting on your boots. Time better spent looking for compositions. And that is why I watch. To learn how to find great compositions. Keep up the great work. Oh, and just between you and me - I have three photos hanging in my office - one is mine, one is Ansel Adams', and the other is yours.

I like the story telling aspect with the b-roll. People think it’s easy, but to do it well takes a lot of time, skill and creativity. I see it and appreciate it, but not at the expense of your enjoyment of the photography. Guess there is a balance somewhere.

Great shots! I imagine it's a bit stressing when all you really want to do is hike, enjoy nature and take a few photos in addition to filming all the video footage and drone sequences. Just the thousand double trips to set up the video camera, walk back, film yourself, then back again to collect the camera. Stop again to unpack the drone, fly back to pack it up… And the good light is gone... ;) Great work!

I really miss your drone footage; always very well done. As a consumer of this content at times I feel like a baby bird demanding more and more and more. :^) It would get very annoying over time, feeding us baby birds at the expense of your photography - I'd say, do the photography. You'll be happier in the long run. But I really do appreciate your work and hope you continue sharing. Even if you get a modern/new adventure vehicle for trips like this you'd be very tempted to take the old van to keep the wear and tear off the new one. Last year I picked up an "adventure" car/suv but loath to really take it out in the boonies because I don't want to scratch it up. Sigh..... Kept the pickup, but she is only 2WD.
