Responding after 2 years, lol. Momotaro is the serious one, Genki has anxiety so basically afraid a lot. Recently with Kintaro turning 5…Genki is looking for affection from Momotaro again. When they do play around Kintaro chases his dad for going after his mom 😂

Boy I tell ya these two love birds playing.☺ D'Jeeco with the twerking (3:07) while playing though! 😭😭😂😂 Baby Jabali is not harmed during these pheromone saturated trisps rolling through the grass. He's learning gorilla way, "lil J this is how/why we play. It's fun, but moreover rolling and tussling creates strong muscles, good coordination, and learning how to balance and shift your body weight." This is most helpful while climbing especially trees. 😊

You made some great points! In the wild, this playful fighting is also training for those times when the silverback has to fight the gorillas' natural enemies - leopards and other silverbacks, to keep his troop safe. If this were real fighting, his canines would rip Tayari open. The fact that there is no blood whatsoever, speaks volumes.

I've always said that when Tayari is criticized. I 100% believe that is why Jabali just doesn't latch on well. Tayari is unusually petite for a female gorilla, and she's short-haired. Plus Tayari's mom Gyasi sometimes carried her the same way when she was a baby...hind leg or front arm.😄

From what I saw on another channel she only had one other baby around while she was old enough to observe how to mother. I get so sad at all the negative comments about her. Jabali is growing & healthy. She’s a bit rough around the edges but watching her & D’Jeeco play makes me smile. He obliviously doesn’t mind it one bit. ☺️
