Some baby monkeys are wicked ass holes! They bite mom and run all over her clinging with no space, not obeying the elders and begging for milk from different monkeys, WHICH IS AGENTS THEIR RULES! They even try to steal food from the elders, those are the ones that usually end up dying because they don't respect the order like some of the other babies. Elders eat first, no constant whining and fits! It drives them all crazy when some whine all the time, and aren't trying to learn to forge, some think they can stick on mom 24/7 and don't try to progress. Survival of the fittest.

Yes she is playing with her baby. But the mothers do not torture nor do they abuse them. They have to teach them how to be obedient how to forage and social skills which requires them to wean the babies and these babies are by far the most defiant hard headed annoying babies in the entire animal kingdom and they have to use strict punishment & discipline

I wonder if Coco is doing this to Copper because Lizzy doesn't like Copper very much and Lizzy makes it known, she is always hitting, biting and lashing out at Copper for no reason at times (with reason other times) but Coco sees that and is like "See Lizzy I am on your side, I don't like MY BABY sometimes as well"...Idk I have noticed that with higher ranking females if they don't care for or like a baby (no matter who's baby it is) the lower ranking mother of that baby does lash out and beat that baby too (Brinn and Bree are a good example with Tara; Maria and Maddix with Dolly). Not all the time, but I wonder if that's why Coco is beating on Copper for apparently no reason, to show her alliance to Lizzy.

As I observed baby Copper did make many faces that look funny, and his bones so tender that Coco could bend him without hurting him.And it seems like Coco was smacking and kissing him and not biting him, as if making baby Copper her toy. Because Copper did not scream or cry in pain. He is quite funny, letting Coco pull his hair, and his back and his tail. He makes funny faces that i cannot understand.
