🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Agreed! Both Viki and Echo had an astounding lack of self-accountability, which is largely why Dorian couldn't stand either one of them. Charlie also failed to hold himself accountable for his actions also, which also cost him any respect Dorian had for him as well.

I don't. Viki spent too many years being horrible to many people while putting on a holier-than-thou saint act. Even though Charlie and Echo were also horrible, it was fun seeing karma finally come back to bite Viki's ass.

Bravo, darling Dorian for standing up to Echo! Dorian was nervous, but didn't allow Echo to bully her. Hilarious also because tiny, short Dorian has been decked, slapped, punched and choked a billion times, so Echo's threat means little to her.

I don't imagine Dorian being nervous about Echo. I remember her fighting with Roberta (Tiny) in prison back in the 80's. And Dorian was throwing punches like a pro. She's NEVER been a punk! I wish there was more footage of Nancy Pinkerton in the role because I heard her version was MEANER than the Strasser version. Can you imagine? LOL!

@@fwdthinker: Dorian was a steely, tough street fighter, that much is true. But Dorian also had lots of fears and yes, sometimes became nervous. Dorian was actually a highly sensitive individual and an introvert to boot, which she usually masked under a brash, smart-mouthed, bold-seeming exterior. But as the show went on, you saw her fears show through that armor she usually wore. The time in April 1993, when Jason found a lump in her breast and let her know, Dorian tried to put on a front of bravado, but swallowed in fear. Dorian's forehead often wrinkled when she worried also. But yes, she was a true trooper who triumphed over so much hardship in her life. Viki had to find out the hard way that Dorian was no easy mark for bullying. Dorian often felt her fear, but did what had to be done and never let her fears stop her. I imagine that once she left the small town of Llanview and moved to DC near the end of the series, she fit in far better in a big diverse city where she would meet other introverts and HSPs like herself. And there certainly are many more brown eyes like Dorian's in DC.

By this time, Viki had gained a grudging respect for Dorian, even though Viki still looked down on Dorian as "low-class." By late 1995, Viki along with her alters realized that she could no longer trample on Dorian.

I love how despite their trouble with each other and bad blood, Dorian truly helped Viki out with Echo. Had Viki given Dorian a chance back in 1974, Dorian would have been a warm, caring, loving stepmum for Viki. What a pity Viki rejected Dorian just because she resented sharing her daddy's fortune and attention. I think also Viki was a tad xenophobic back then seeing the dark-eyed, dark-haired, swarthy-complexioned Dorian as "too different."

I wish that footage was still around because from what I read, Viki didn't like Dorian even BEFORE she married Victor. Remember...she was in Llanview about 3 years before marrying him. In fact, marrying him was partially revenge against Viki for supposedly voting to get her fired at the hospital (which we later learned Viki did NOT do). I just always wondered how it REALLY got started. Was it just that Viki was a snob who looked down on her? Hmmm...

@@fwdthinker: Yes, it was mostly that Viki was a snob. Dorian did love Victor and Victor love-bombed Dorian, who by then was an established doctor and was in her early thirties. Sure, Llanview Hospital had fired her, but Dorian still had her doctorate degree, that degree did not vanish. Dorian saved Victor's life from a heart attack. I'm glad Dorian's character was fleshed out more and made more human instead of just leaving her as this one-demensional, all-bad villian. All-bad and all-good characters grow stale and boring very quickly. I also suspect that sharp, perceptive Dorian was the first to see Viki's alters, even if she couldn't name them and it scared Dorian. I suspect that Dorian probably commented on Viki behaving differently and Viki felt threatened by it and that also fueled their feud. I think it was several factors, not just one simple thing.

13:45...Ooo, Dorian is so sharp and wise...an old soul. What a pity Viki wasted too many years hating Dorian and trying to blame Dorian for crap that Viki herself perpetuated. All Dorian had wanted was to be Viki's stepmum and love her, but childish Viki rejected that and instead fancied Dorian as this "evil" golddigging "wicked" stepmother.

Echo reminded me of my ex girl friend when she was playing games with me where I told her not to go behind my back to disrespect me or my family members but she destroyed me in many ways I tried to help her but she was ungrateful and manipulative..that broken me like a confused idiot smh....I was like I've had your back I stood by, you when you had your problematic moments all the good shit I've done for you this is how you fucking repay me!???seriously!??..but for charlie damn everyone fucked up and damaged others jeez wow oh wow like...I can't.

Actually, Viki and Echo are more similar than either are willing to admit. Just like Echo here, Viki has countless times screamed at somebody, namely Dorian, _How could you dooo this to meeee?_ Both Viki and Echo are self-centered, egotistical drama queens.
