In the 1970s in eastern Turkey a valve spring broke in our 62 VW bus. My father-in-law, whose bus it was, got a lift into a town and returned a couple hours later on an old Bulgarian made motorcycle converted into a three-wheeler with a bed on the back. He was with a Turkish mechanic and, I later learned, two of his sons, about 9 and 11 years old. He had a canvas bag with hand tools and on the side of the road he replaced the broken valve spring. The two kids had evidently done this many times as they were handing him tools without him asking. Fortunately, the valve hadn't bent. Incredible.

I, as one, think that all of you people in America that are commenting must think that just because it was done by the " Indian truck workshop " that the only tools they have are made out of stone and their cups are made out of seashells?....come on America get a grip on it, they have just as much tools as we do, for that matter did ya'll American okes notice that when they got ready to pull the punkin out, guess what, they wiped out a well used transmission jack!!! There's to many mechanics in America can't get anything done without putting on their dainty little doctor's gloves.... now your going to say....but..but..all that dirty grease and stuff is bad for your health???? Shiit. America your getting afraid to go outside and get dirty!!!Michael said that, bye for now my friends.

Michael, I never said that this guy's are using primitive tools, I admire the great that they are able to fix, and also I never said that people living in America are better than them, no,no,no, I'm subscribed to their channel and I'm very happy waiting for the next video, greetings to all of you people outhere.

I could smell the gear oil as these guys were turning the wrenches!!! I like the socket wornch idea with the taper. It fits 3/8 or 1/2 drives with little issue. Impressed with the setting of the gears. Overall good job. To get the trucker back on the road.

you would think the shop owner would see the productivity merit in investing in some tools, a few impacts and a hydraulic press for starters. a parts cleaner too but that may be too exotic. get their address, send them a harbor freight catalog. that would be like Snap-On to them.
