I am really impressed by your level of skill and craftsmanship... it is a fine art, that has become obsolete in Europe because it is too expensive... alas.... Greetings, Ruud

The ready availability of inexpensive, high quality, ISO Standard produced fasteners in Europe means there's no point in making one from scratch! An apprentice could produce a nut of this type, its hardly rocket science and the apprentice wouldnt need angle grinders...

Fine art ? Come on... The nut barely screws on the bolt

Я видел слёзы направляющих когда он занёс болгарку, об существовании отрезного там похоже не знают.
@user-um7or2ly3p2 жыл бұрын
они не умеют затачивать резцы... или даже может дело в том, что все отрезные давно сломали, а покупать новые - нет денег.

Now all you need is an 8 sided wrench or spanner to tighten it up. I wonder if this is how Chrysler in the U.S. comes up with odd ball fasteners that nobody has tools for?

It does a good job of looking like a proper nut. It’s neither hardened nor built properly to do the job intended. The castellations aren’t just slits cut in the top for looks. The top portion of the nut is shaped for a specific reason.
