My advice would be to shape your balloon (push against chest) to make round and make nice clusters :)

It looks great! How do you make the clusters with such little gaps? I’m just starting out and when I tie the necks of the balloons together I still have so many gaps

Make sure you’re tying your balloons together tight, really pull at the necks and then when you cluster twist 2x and you can do clusters of 6 or 8

what brand balloons do you use i think that has a lot to do with it my balloons either always pop or have the circle im the middle

Nice job. I have a seamstress sew a rod pocket at the top of my backdrops when they don't come with one. Sonmuch easier, neater, and inexpensive.
