I agree that the poster should not be edited. But this seems to me like "trigger warning" b.s. Is it actually woke? I'm asking, not claiming it isn't. The word "woke" has become an umbrella term for any new idea we disagree with. It's a shame, because when the "woke" are not manufacturing things to be upset about, or are getting upset on behalf of other people who are not themselves upset, they sometimes make, or made, valid points.

This is just my opinion, but I think trigger warnings are woke. It's a rated R movie about the Vietnam War. If you don't know what you are getting, don't watch it.

@@StudioJake Trigger warnings seem to me to be an effort to protect children and young adults who are raised in a way that they don't learn to deal with all the unpleasant parts of the real world, not just those highlighted by the "woke." Studies have shown, not surprisingly if you think about it, that trigger warnings do not work. The warning can remind the traumatized of what has happened to them, without them being exposed to what is being warned against. Essentially, trigger warnings say to people, "Don't think about something." That's the first thing they think about.

It is woke when other people decide for you what is offensive. They did the same thing to classic literature by taking out certain words. And removing entire authors from libraries. They are editing history and revising art. It is part of the woke agenda to guide, control and monitor the aesthetic world cuz that's where forbidden ideas and truths are discussed. is your question serious? Or are you just having a laugh?
