I would recommend getting the big rear view mirror if you have kids. I have it and you can see the entire road and the whole back seat. So you can keep an eye on the kids easier than turning around and just yelling back at them. You can see everything going on.

Using the wifi dongle for Carplay/Android Auto so that yo don't have to connect a cable sounds great, but it also means your phone isn't charged. There are, however, also phone holders that have wireless charging included. The holder itself is obviously connected with a USB-cable, but that stays connected permanently and you can use a short cable for that. The phone is then simply placed in the holder like usual and will charge wireless, no need to connect a cable to the phone without the battery running out.
