Thank you for the overview of Amazon's current issues and future initiatives! As an Amazon Prime customer and AWS customer, this interview left me even more confident in my decision to use Amazon for much of my shopping, entertainment, and web services. I don't speak for Amazon on this platform; my opinions are my own.

Well I hope Jassy does a better job in directing Amazon and overseeing the Customer Service Dept. Because when one files complaint after complaint of NOT getting the items they order due to the fact that Amazon Drivers are allowed to "Pre-Deliver" the package on still on their trucks or that they dropped on th streets outside of building unattended and report them as being delivered to the customer. Making Customers lives can not be made easier when Customer Service Supervisors tell customers to Call the Police and file a report in order to get their refund from a package that was never delivered. Instead of calling the Amazon Distribution Center and demand that the director in charge of that center have those drivers re-trained to follow company Policies. Asking customers to file a false Police report is a Felony, for over a year the driver from the Hyattsville Md. center has been dropping containers of customer packages outside of the Apt. building or just dropping the containers in the lobby and getting back into his truck and taking off. Causing the building mgr to call Amazon to have someone come back and deliver the packages that where NOT delivered. For me I canceled my Account and will use Wal-Mart or just go back to the old way and do my own shopping at the Brick and Mortar Stores I can get better deals and the items I want the very same day.

So interesting: as a former One Medical patient/subscriber who became increasingly disappointed with their care provision and the way they treated their doctors and other staff and how this translated into increasingly less satisfactory care for the patients, the comment about their acquisition of One Medical and all the marketeering talk was just spin, not reality. I fear for the further corporatization of medicine. This only underscored my concerns.

Complete bullshit, I'm a multimillion dollar Amazon seller. We have the best selling products in a certain category a few times a year and we never manage to reach the top four organic positions. It's all Amazon private label products or other brands sold by Amazon. Also, Amazon lets their private label listings in this category go down in rank during the year and then once Q4 gets closer they miraculously get multiple spots in the search pages for just one listing and within a few weeks they rise back to the top and become the best selling listing in the entire category. Like clockwork for the past five years. FTC contact us.

This guy comes off terribly. Not saying Bezos was an angel but like so many founder CEO's, he had this almost messianic charisma. Bezos, Gates, Jobs--they all seemed to have genuinely believed they were making the world a better place. Quixotic as that quest might be, it's not a bad trait in a leader.
