Great Video Dan, but I do disagree with you on one thing. You say to get 3 samples from 3 products, I understand your talking about the primary and competing products. But after you've done your product research and narrowed down the best one. What is the point in getting the other 2 samples and spending more money. Wouldn't you say that if you were a indecisive person and all the numbers add up coincidentally, thats when you get samples from all 3 but if you narrowed down the best product out of the 3 there is no point in spending more money when your not going to sell the other 2 products anyway.

You can use whatever manufacturer or supplier from where ever you want. But you will find a huge difference in the profit margin. And you won’t find as many manufacturing options here in the US. I did see where one seller actually ended up building her own manufacturing plant near her to satisfy her inventory supply. Of course that takes you down a much more complex and costly business road (hiring, training and managing employees, paying for workman’s comp and other insurance, minimum wage, rent for office or manufacturing space, etc). For many we want less work = more freedom (more on the passive income side), and higher profit margins along with the variety of manufacturers to chose from. That’s why most business go out of the country or big business will actually build their own manufacturing business in other countries. Go to your local target, Walmart, Best Buy… read the labels and see where they are getting 99% of their inventory. But it is doable if you’re willing to put in the money and time (if managing employees or building a manufacturing plant) and go without less freedom and profits to have a label that says “Made in the USA”. The upside is keeping the money in our country, creating jobs, not being part of exploiting humans if you are conscientious of the way other countries exploit their workers (some places are almost slave labor). That can be a moral issue not everyone is ok with. Dan might have another answer, but that’s my analysis based on my personal research and experience as a business owner.
