Hi GG! Your and Evgeny's help in the Day One Careers community is amazing. I followed every tip you've shared, and guess what? I've got an offer! I am so excited to start the upcoming year working in a wonderful workplace like Amazon. So after preparing for a couple weeks yesterday I finally did my panel interview. Not even an hour later an auto generated email was sent to let me know they would not hire me and would not share the mitivations. I find highly unlikely they even held a meeting to discuss it. So yeah, take all this talk about their hiring procedures with a grain of salt guys, it's all just pr

I agree that’s unheard of- I’ve never heard EVER of someone getting a rejection after loop in less than an hour. I’m not doubting your story but guarantee nothing in this channel is just PR. I don’t work for Amazon and have no reason to not tell the truth of my experience and knowledge. That said I have ZERO explanation as to what could have happened in your case.

@@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone503 I hope it's true and it's just me getting the short end of the stick with the recruiting team. It's just so disappointing to study all about their culture just to have it go this way

That’s absolutely understandable and honestly just logistically I don’t understand how you can get a loop outcome in less than 60min. If you have the energy it might be worth querying how that happened with your recruiter or the hiring manager. If you’re polite about it then hopefully someone can shed some light. I for one would like to know now.

@@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone503 so the other I reached out to my recruiter and she's ghosting me. I suppose that's how they roll here in Europe

From my extensive interactions from candidates across the planet I can assure you that failure for recruiters to reply isn’t Europe specific. Do you care enough to chase down the Hiring Manager?

Hi GG, thank you for all of the content you’ve generated, it’s incredibly helpful! I’ve completed assessments and currently have phone interviews scheduled for two different senior program manager positions at Amazon. Do you have a video that I’ve missed in my search, or can you shed some light, on what happens after the phone interview? What is the process like to determine whether or not a candidate moves forward? Is it solely up to the discretion of the phone interviewer, or is someone else collecting their notes and making that decision? Neither of my scheduled interviews are with the HM, and I know there’s no Bar Raiser involvement at this stage, so I’m curious about that decision making process. There’s understandably so much content out there about the loop and the assessments, but I’m not finding much about the phone interview. Any insight would be helpful, thanks!
