I’m a Cosmo and I LOVE your tutorial!! I just came to figure out how to remove old tape to reuse but you have given me so much more! I too bought cheap extensions, #60, and just toned them with so silver for my silver hair. Thanks so much!!!
@shannonadams87093 жыл бұрын
A trick that I’ve come across to save your fingers is to take a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil and stick your extension to it to take the old tape off. So stick the extension to the foil and while holding the extension to the foil you pull down on your extension repeat as needed till you can peel the tape off easier or it peels it completely off.

I bought tape ins from better length for textured hair and when I tell you the tape was trash, I was so disappointed, before the install was even complete the hair was coming out. I put a video out on my chanel so now I am doing even more research then I did before the purchase and you are the first one to acknowledge that some of the tape these extensions come with is trash.

Im about to do my tape ins for the first time (got ones from Amazon as for the first time and if I like it - I’ll invest in quality hair). Got my hair messed up by my last hairdresser and whole crown area snapped off and found out about Tapes, what could actually save the hair around till the crown grows back. Also about to follow your tutorial on cutting the hair. Loved that one as well ! Thank you ! 🤍

I’ve had my tapes in for nearly 3 months and got them from amazon and i didn’t change the tape on them and they are SO HARD to get out!! please if anyone is getting amazon tape extension take off the tape i only managed to get 4 out and it has left so much glue luckily it’s underneath and not visible. I can’t wait to get them all out tho and wash my hair!! amazom hair is so good just soak them in coconut oil when you take them out until you want to put them in again then wash and rinse them and there good to go back in! another thing id say is buy them the next length up from what your wanting because the ends go thin after washing

Hi Brittnee! I decided to get single sided tape so I can give my thinning hair a break! My question is can i use my hair straightener "Tap-Tap" for the single layer tape,? I am scared the tape will melt and burn since the weft won't be there to protect..Thank You for your videos! You taught me how to apply the extensions, I absolutely love your cute personality and you are so easy to understand.

A faster way to retape and stay organized is put the hair on the tape while it’s still on the paper. Then all you have to do it peel and stick. You can also label the sheet for back, left side or right. At least that’s what I do in salon
@lpg85183 жыл бұрын
LOL I ordered these from Amazon before and was lucky enough to get the right color. I just ordered the same color again, hopefully it will look the same as the last. Mine were 12 inch, 2 packs for $50, great deal and pretty good quality, but I think they're meant for a one time installation (not necessarily reusable though you can use them again they just get kind of ratty).

Best tips ever, one question - I have clip in extensions because I don't want long hair all the time. Would you apply those the same way as the tape-ins - i.e., diagonal on the sides? I am assuming yes as when I put them in on the horizontal - even the 1 or 2 clip wefts look a little "off" Thanks!

@BrittneeAlexus3 жыл бұрын
You just have to look at the picture with this brand, but honestly none of them really match so be prepared to match it with color at home. If you are coloring your hair I would suggest to color AFTER you have your hair so you can try to match it yourself

🙋♀️ can i just put the beauty tape over the original tapes or do i really need to switch them out? Do you think the tapes have gotten better in the past two yrs or do you still such them out?
@JireneL3 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for your awesome videos! I have a question... so I bought some great tape in extensions on Amazon and put them myself and was very proud how it came out but the color wasn’t perfect so I went to a hair stylist to match the color. The woman who washed and brushed my hair really hurt me and I got home to find small bold spots on my head. Was it her or did I not treat my hair right? Does that happen often? Because I purposefully sleep on a silk pillow case and I put the hair in a braid for the night. What do I do now? I hope you can answer. Thank you again! 🙏

Can I tone them before I put them in? Also are the wella toners ok (I ask because they need 20vol developer)? My real hair is pretty fragile/damaged, so I like to minimize contact between the hair and additional toner (after the initial bleaching and toning).

How do these look after washing? I bought a pack of the Vivian hair extensions, and after the first wash, they looked worse than my bleached hair would without conditioner. I even use Olaplex 2 and just did that as leave in treatment. The end look so fried.

I loved this video advice. I'm first time extensions and watched a ton and this one was most helpful 🙂 I have had them for 4 days now and I need to go get a razor now for the blending part and I'm terrified of messing it up ugh wish me luck 🙃

You will do great! little sections to start- just use the tip of the razor.
@dnllmaurer13 жыл бұрын
As Brittnee said, take your time & do small sections. You can always cut more but you'll be upset if you cut too much cause It won't grow back.
