I haven’t tried that w7 foundation but their HD foundation is actually BEAUTIFUL, I tested a load of their products recently and I’m so impressed I just picked up their newest eyeshadow palette too x

I'm 70 years old, and the tissue around my eyes gets more deeply pigmented as I age. Great review! I don't mind if a legitimate brand like ELF makes a dupe for a Charlotte Tibury product but I am very wary of some random company making wannabes. I may or may not like the ELF dupe, but I can trust that brand to put out a certain quality and safety.

I agree, plus I can rely on any claims like being cruelty free. I will also mention the foundation brand W7 is a popular budget brand in the UK and is trustworthy as far as I'm concerned. Taking a chance on something like a brush is completely different to something with ingredients.

The markup on cosmetics is outrageous. The high end brands are nice, but not really worth the extra expense. It’s great that manufacturers are making comparable affordable products.

W7 takes me right back to my teenage years. Surprised you didn't include there Honolulu bronze we all know that's a straight up rip off of benefit hoola 😂 they're the original copycats. But here in the UK W7 is a drugstore brand. Like in my local supermarket market we have our L'Oréal, Maybelline, Rimmel stands then right next to it we have collection and W7.

This was really interesting, I'd love to see some more! I just want to mention, since I don't hear it mentioned enough, that Selena Gomez very intentionally created her packaging to be easy to open for those of us with issues with our hands. She (I believe) has Lupus, and as a fellow autoimmune disease inflicted person, her thoughtfulness is very much appreciated. When it's already painful to apply makeup, those little things, like the easy to open caps make a difference 🥰Please share your Greek chicken & rice recipe!!!

Well that was very interesting! I think i'll take a closer look at some of these products on Amazon. To be honest, I'm not familiar with all the brands because they're just too expensive for me (some things aren't even available in Germany, such as Natasha Denona's concealer and Uoma beauty's powder). I have to admit i don't even recognize a product as a dupe of a brand or the 'real one' 😅 But i think both looked great on you! I’m not sure it’s just about a money grab. I think also it’s about giving people an opinion that can only spend a few dollars but can have the feeling of having one of those really expensive products. Just my thoughts.

I had no idea things like this were available on Amazon. I was so hoping the Double Wear dupe would work since DW is my holy grail foundation. The closest I’ve found is Revlon Colorstay in the normal/dry formula. I’m still tempted to try the W7 though especially at that price.

I recently purchased a w7 foundation, matifying powder, blush, vegan lipstick and mascara direct from their website and I am really impressed with the quality for the price. Great video xxx

Their vegan brow pencil rocks too. I'm a brunette and often brown brow pencils in more affordable brands have a too warm red undertone. The one from W7 is a proper cool brown and a great texture that doesn't slide off in the Australian heat.

I have both the BB and the IT cosmetics brushes, and both of them developed a major whorl so that they don’t work right. I even got two of the IT brushes and the same thing happened. I’d much, much rather go with the dupes.

The dupe for double wear is Maybelline's skin tint foundation. I purchased it a week ago, and I'm impressed. I've been wearing the double for more than 20 years now. However, this stuff is really, really good 😊.

The W7 legend foundation has been around since I was a teen and I'm in my 30's now so we're looking at 17+ years. My first play into make up was W7 and Maybelline. It's actually a well known 'drugstore' brand in the UK. You weren't nothing back in the mid 2000's if you didn't look like an umpalumpa from the dream matt mousse and W7 Honolulu bronzer all set down with W7 banana dreams loose powder 😂
