Remove some of the twists from the back and sides. Don't take any from the top. Too much hair is in each twist which cause the added weight. Only the top needed a little extra hair for fullness. Hope this helps.

I think the kanekalon braiding hair is much lighter than synthetic and can always straighten or curl as desired. I love it full but that sure looked heavy. Your neck brace joke cracked me up.

I ordered mines before seeing this review. It came this past Thursday (7/1) and it's already re-packed to be shipped back via UPS on Saturday. Maybe mines was defected but it was a straight up no--it looked so CHEAP and the texture was not good imo.
