I've read a lot of news stories where someone will break into someone's house make a sandwich and then fall asleep in their bed. That's a real modern-day Goldilocks right there. But I think they mean you can use the alarm to keep yourself from going to the fridge too often and break a bad habit. I remember my mom used to say it's a refrigerator not a photo booth you can close the door already it's not going to take your picture. 😒

Wait the sponge cleaning things aren't normal in the us? WE USE THOSE DAILY. And you don't actually need to wash 'em everytime. Just wash 'em with running water after every use and change 'em maybe every 1 or 2 months :)

A few of us use them in the US, but it's not a product easily found in the US because paper towels have a tight hold on consumers here. I thought for sure Bounty or one of the other major paper towels companies would be all over this but they believe it will decrease their repurchase sales, since you don't have to replace the product so often. Also you are absolutely right you don't have to machine wash them every time... I have found them through Amazon and occasionally if I go to a Japanese market here in Hawai'i.
