The way I avoid burn-out is listening to podcasts and music when working out in the field trust me. It helps ease your thoughts and time goes by a lot quicker when you're listening to your favorite youtuber or music. Amazon isn't really physically demanding in that you deal with heavy packages it's mostly a mental thing. Like you mentioned everyone is built different.

After this peak im switching to flex part time. I say flex pt is the real VET. I get to work up to 60 hours a week which i did one time. Very tiring but it was worth it. I started as flex but switched to back half and then donut and now i wanna flex again.

Flex is not consistent you'd be lucky to even get 1 block in a span of 2 days off-season. Flex is meant to be a side-hustle not a full time thing and for reference I'm in the South Florida market. Not only that the pay is not worth it. The average rate is $19/hr and that is you using your own vehicle racking up miles.

@@Tokyo_1031 I think you're talking about Flex Delivery. I'm talking about Flex scheduling. I want to stay working at my fulfillment center just switching schedules. I no longer want to work a full set schedule. I just want to pick my own shifts.

This is my third christmas peek season and never had to work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week....This peek is the hardest to me because they didnt hire enough seasonals as they did in the past and we are constantly understaffed.

love your videos bro they are very helpful... i got a questio bro since you were a PA... im curious about something. well im in the pack flow department.. and well i was curious about the whole assigning station process work... our PA assigns our stations... but not all the stations are the same, in some stations you get more work than others... and she gives the good stations to certain people.. (her buddys.).. so my question is. when you guys assing the stations do you choose them? or does the system randomly choose it?

ima have to go to another building I wana see it yo when it comes to vto they offering it every day at akc1 I been here since last year last year I only was offered vto 3 times and I was hired during peak lmao I say this though you get vacation time for all them hours January 1st take off a whole week they a be cool and a side note its growing pain if I ever have to work at a regular warehhouse again I feel like I'm over qualified because of Amazon ship dock fluids for example they had be paletizing and feeling up 3 trucks at the same time but you're right about the work stress

If your feeling like to a breaking point. 9x out of 10 am, managers, And HR don’t care. I’m 19 working as an associate for singles/AFE/pick. It’s especially frustrating when you go to school too. Nobody told me after high school this how the real world works. Nobody is going to applaud you for your work and that’s just for a fact. Im almost a year in this job, I told myself if I work my way up I’m changing and making an impact in my work environment because these old heads as managers or w.e are burnt out.

Yea my beautiful bags under the eyes are in lol. But i’ve been enjoying pack because my pa is always moving me around during periods and letting me learn new things so i’m able to do something different and change up the pace to make the day faster. But if i only packed all day that would be tough, but some people don’t mind! So i guess my advice to others is to try and do other jobs so it’s not as repetitive if you’d like.

I worked about 70 hrs every week for about a year. Over 10 hours a day 6 days a week. The checks were nice. Then i realized i had no life outside of package delivery, i burned out and quit. 😂
