Love the helicopters! I buy the whistles all the time. Just wrap the string around the whistle and tuck the string under. Great haul Anna Beth! Thanks for sharing! My haul is coming up!

I found some first time buys on Amazon Prime day-sunglasses, tic tac toe game in a pouch, Marval playschool heroes, flashlights, as well as some repeat buys. I have put those helicopters things in my Pencil packs for Pencil Granny and Friends-they fit so well.

I have bought those whistles for years and I use them for all 3 age groups. I wrap the string around the whistle and put them in an 2x3 jewelry baggie I get at Wal-Mart and they're ready to go! You found some great treasures, Annabeth !

Those black bracelets are great! I definitely think the older boys will like them. Maybe a station at the workshops can be wrapping the strings around the mouthpiece part of the whistles. That would help them from getting tangled. I also think the hand helicopters would be great to add in pencil packs. They would fit right in and not take any extra packaging

I put my whistles in a small jewelry ziplock bag. I usually get the bags from Hobby Lobby. They are inexpensive. Those whistle strings can become a twisted mess without individual bags.

I admire your very organized system of workshops for occ. May i ask, how many people attend your church? And how many usually attend your packing party? Thank you

We have about 1,200 members but our ministry is relatively new and last year we had a little over 100 come to a packing party. What we do with the packing party we add on top of what the congregation does. Our congregation still packs their own shoe boxes we're trying to use our workshop to add to that number.
