I’ve been at Amazon a year a half. One of the first to work at the newly built warehouse-pack, AFE, slam KO, pick and stow trained. I want to become a PA for this exact reason! Just be chilling on my computer😅 I’m 30 and my body be killing me at times, so yeah, give me that laptop lol💯

I am currently at my location the out bound ship dock ship clerk PG with no PA due to PA leaving site. but waiting to get my interview. I am the only one on my shift that knows how to Ship Clerk so I’m confident I’ll get the spot.( out bound dock is the best place to be tbh )

Been a pg for around 3 months. Was asked too pg week 4 and turned it down. Was reluctant at first but took it and a week later our pa stepped down. They asked me a month ago if I’d be interested but I said I was unsure some we have just been running without one. Yesterday I put my app in bc if we are doing it someone should get paid. Been a PA now for 2 months, have yet to receive my vest, no one respects me, people in lower positions than me tell me what to do. Absolutely hate my job, treated like garbage, most people don't even know I'm a PA, I get worked harder than most regular associates. Do not recommend. Literally have a PG walking around with his computer telling me when I can go to break and where I need to be working. Hate it but can't afford to quit. Nobody realizes I'm a tier 3 because I still haven't received my vest 😢

you type of workers need to quit while your ahead. Amazon and working at a warehouse isn't for you. Don't think that you can trick amazon, they are one step ahead of you. You ain't gonna get to chill but quit. You aren't going to retire and if you do become a manager your eventually gonna quit and get hires somewhere else eventually. Like I said I don't what you type of lazy people come to amazon in the first place, like its a warehouse if you don't like to work find work somewhere else. You should apply for assistant manager of a fast food chain at KFC, mcdonalds which pays the same amount where you can chill and walk around waiting for shift to end. Amazon is a warehouse with medium load labor and nothing compared to real warehouse which have heavy work load. there is nothing to complain about you don't belong in a warehouse if you don't like to work. PA position isn't going to solve your issue of being lazy, since i've seen so many PA's quit why, cause they were lazy to begin with. Now even this dumb dude in the video is delivering and quit his PA position. Amazon has no chill position, its all about getting work done for amazon an nothing more, everyone is a number that is eventually gonna quit.

I have had (or should I say EARNED) ALL my support from leadership through associate interaction and by taking on assignments to liberate my AM a bit so they can do their job more effectively. You’re absolutely correct PA is cool depending on the team and manager. You must work at a cool site or maybe you’re right Ship Dock is the worst spot to be lol. They be working the PAs like a regular associate. Especially when they VTO before shifts and during the shift and no one is there. Amazon needs more people in leadership roles with your personality, you seem so chill and cool. I love your videos they are so honest and real. There needs to be an Amazon reality show. That would definitely be a hit.

I've been working at amazon for 3 years. I've interviewed for the PA position 8 times, and I've been rejected every time. I have borderline personality disorder and I have trouble with interaction with other people, so I was hoping that PA would help me overcome that at least somewhat, but apparently I am just not very good at interviews lol. Last few applications I wasn't even accepted for an interview. I'm hoping that I can get the position one day, I haven't given up yet! I also appreciate your videos, they have been very informative even after years of amazon experience!

I finally went back to work last Sunday, July 24th and Buf5 transfered me to the opposite side of the building on Buf9 to the returns department. I had to start from scratch and now i’m a yellow vest again, but it’s ok. I feel better on the Buf9 side, because they actually care about my back & neck problems. The learning ambassadors Kahn and Donna were so nice to me while I started training for the returns department last week. There’s also a nice water spider Mello who checks in on me and asks how i’m feeling and they ask if I need to sit down or need water. It’s a major difference on how poorly I was treated on the 5 side compared to the caring people on the 9 side. The manager in the returns department told me that he understands my pain because he also has scoliosis with a curved spine and he told me if I need a sitting station to let him know.

Tom team is better you get paid more than PAs to have bbq and eat take out outside when it's slow. And we have L3 TAs who have migrated inside for L4 HR, LP, and WHS. So good

@@S.B. no we are all L3s when we become Transportation Associates. We had Tom Leads also who were L4 hourly but they TOM converted all the leads to area manager this year so they are all salary now. I was talking about regular L3 Transportation Associates in TOM Team that were able to get promotion inside as Sr. HR, Lost Prevention Specialist, and WHS which were L4. TOM team is growing fast and not many people know the money opportunities that they can make from it. We will eventually be all over the road since majority of us at my site got their CDL (Jobs for Life) which was paid by amazon and with that comes potential bonuses and a future pay raise.

I tote run and down stack and just got AFM, going for a PA position and ready to move for it. Got my career choice game and graduating in a year also. Been with the company six months and am willing to move anywhere to get into PA and AM before moving on to corporate. I guess I can do ambassador in a couple months but I hate having to be the bad guy especially when being an ambassador is only a few times a week and you end up having to go back to picking or singles after being an ambassador seems a little weird.

S.B. Thank you for the videos! I just started at Amazon in Pick but have been cross trained in ICQA and just recently with Tote Replenishment because a manager likes my work ethic. She mentioned the PA role to me, and said she'd get me an application. According to Glassdoor, it looks like the pay on average is about $25 per hour, how accurate is that (?), if you care to disclose. Thank you, man!

I don't think that's correct its unually like $2 dollars more I believe but that helps you to cap out at a higher pay, I think its a great position if the person is not worried about dealing with challenges here and there.

Congrats on that fam! And LA does help definitely to get your used to the engagement the amazon culture way but I know people who went straight to PA without it. I started at amazon five weeks ago, working at the newest launch site in my home city by coincidence, FSD1 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Been promoted two times as learning ambassador and problem solve. Applied for PA not too long ago and am already doing coachings and the nuances in between! I love amazon because when I leave, I’m happy! Also I had patella femoral pain syndrome in my right knee so the cartilage was fraying apart. Now that I’m done with PT, this job at amazon has been amazing for healing it, I walk 20.8 miles and ~40 flights of stairs three days out of the week. What progress path are you on now?

Because your more so doing less physical work and just overseeing moving the pieces around. It could get stressful for sure that's why I put the position #2 on my most stressful positions but just as it could sometimes be stressful its a lot of times where you have down time and your just making sure everything is flowing I have a few videos on the PA position.

@@bellat63At least 10 hours of UPT and you technically don’t need to be an ambassador, but it helps a lot. People who have problem solver, ambassador, and/or process guide on their resume will been put above others without them. Tenure is also a factor.

Been at Amazon for 3 years , I pick , tote run , water spider & cross trained in stow , what do I need in order to be a PA ? Do I need experience as a process guide or do problem solve or be a Learning Ambassador?

I would say to apply when ever there's a opening and on top of that let your AM know your interested about the role and see which step he thinks would be the best.
