Anime Strike has been cancelled by Amazon. Amazon Prime will be replacing it now. What's changed?

i wish they would have just kept anime strike, with everything sorted nice etc, and just dropped the monthly fee on it. taking it down and having everything all mixed up was another mistake.

I literally tried to look and see what new anime shows were coming out on Amazon. I couldn't find anything with their search system. It's great that this is all included, but what good is it if we can't find the shows that are being added... -Carson

this is good news for those of us that have prime, however since it seems about 90% of the anime community pirates everything, they will still complain about amazon's anime because its still behind a $100 a year paywall and not free for them to steal.

So, there will be shows on Amazon Prime this season, they are Killing Bites, Koi wa Ameagari no You ni, Beatless and Kokkoku. I got that info from www.senpai.moe/?season=winter2018&zone=Europe%2FMadrid&mode=table. The only way right now to see all of the anime on Amazon videos is to go to the search bar for Amazon, change the department to Amazon video and search "anime" and then favorite the page to easily go back to it.

Thanks for the info. I will say that yes we can find the anime on Amazon, but there is no good way to look for new shows being added or what is exclusive to Amazon. The third party site you mentioned is great for putting out this info, but Amazon should have a section dedicated to Anime within Amazon Video so searching is way easier. -Carson

True, they need some organization on their site, have a better way of finding what you want to watch, but as of right now that's what people have to do to find them, which isn't terrible. But when shows get announced for streaming, always check the third party sites like Anime News Network, My Anime List, Fandompost as well as the link I sent you not just Amazon to find out what shows are going to be streaming on what sites during the season. People do keep track on what's going on with licensing and other stuff like that. They should do something similar to what Netflix, Viewster, Tubi TV and Hulu have for their anime, basically what you said about having a section specific for Anime, not like a channel where you would have to pay for using it.
