Hi Clare! Thank you, gel if really appealing if you like your nails to last for a longer amount of time without chipping! I prefer regular nail polish because l like to switch up my Polish every couple of days. I’m glad you enjoyed this video. I definitely recommend this kit for people who are just getting into gels. Hi! Question - Is the Foundation bottle not a dehydrator/primer? Should I buy a separate one? And if so, what brand does you suggest?

Hi! No the foundation is a base coat. Dehydrator is just rubbing alcohol. I usually don’t use a primer because I doesn’t keep the gel on for 2-3 weeks. I know a lot of people like this primer amzn.to/3hH7cDf

wow, you did such a good job, i made a mess. is it normal for my nails to hurt when i put them in the lamp?

Jackie B Thank you Jackie! It takes practice but if you get a small clean up brush or even an eyeliner make up brush you can clean off the excess polish around your nails to make them look cleaner before curing under the lamp. I’ve noticed some lamps do heat up the nails while curing. If that happens just take your nails out of the lamp for a few seconds and then put them back in. They’re called heat spikes. I hate when that happens.

You might have put on too much product or got it on your skin. It will hurt when you put it in. But like she said, pull it out, then put it back in when it cools down

To remove the foundation and/or color from the skin, would I use nail polish remover (acetone)?

Yes, you can use any nail polish remover and a small brush to remove any gel from your skin before you cure the gel polish in the UV light.

PDX LASHES it’s decent but not the greatest. I like that it has different settings and it turns on automatically. It’s also big enough to put your whole hand it.

Heyy!! I have a question for the lamp so I’m a beginner nail Tec I do acrylic and I want to buy this kit because of the lamp and choice of colors it has does it cure the gel on acrylic ? Or at all because I need a lamp and don’t want to spend 50$ on a kit and then it not cure:( I don’t know what lamp to get !!

Lizbeth Marie Hey! I haven’t tried the lamp on acrylics personally, but I’m sure it does! This is not a professional lamp however if does cure well, it just may take a longer time to cure than the professional lamps. Maybe read some of the reviews on the product and see if anyone has talked about the lamp.
