Thanks for stopping by Ganesh Raj V! Synchronous API call: When you make a call to Amazon Textract API synchronously, it will wait until the results are returned. The result is returned on the fly. It is like a blocking call. Make sense to use, if you want to perform extraction of text from a single image and obtain results at the same time. Asynchronous API call: When you make a call to Amazon Textract API asynchronously, you simply make an API call and it will return the JobId. Here, you do not get results on the fly. Later, you will use that JobId to fetch the results. Ideal for multi-page information extraction since these tasks are time-consuming. I hope this is helpful. Please like, share & subscribe :)
