The music sync of this product is not good as the RGBIC ones. Agar music sync karna hai to usme setting karna padta hai otherwise ek hi color pe rahega. All depends on the setting. I prefer you to look at kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHzFc4iHeaiLfLM

Once Connected it detects automatically when opening the app .. otherwise it has a remote.

Which one did you buy. If it is manufacturing defect, then you can replace. Mine 2nd strip got low but after 2-3 months of using.
