Woah! Cycle Count is not exactly what you said it was! ASIN progression is not accurate! You have to do MSBC (multiple scannable barcode) checks on items that have multiple ASIN’s! That is how we find errors! If only 1 item remains on your list in a MSBC check, the item does not have any errors. If there are 2 items on your list then the item has a defect and needs to be addressed by pulling the andon! LPN’s notoriously have errors because gatekeepers do not connect the upc or xoo’s upc to the LPN and disconnect is the error on the gatekeeper. SRC’s count is a tool used to locate mis scanned items from a particular stower, and to locate damage and amnesty locations which when found creates a cycle count. This count also tracks problem solve to make sure their work is done accurately. The count takes the counter to a specific bin and wants a specific item scanned that is being tracked. When the item is scanned, you must read the scanner to be assured that the item matches the description. If it checks out, then you verify each of the remaining items via the UPC/XOO. You only enter the number of EXACT matches! Because stowers tend to scan one single item (machine gunning) and stow without verification. This method of stow is frowned upon. The cage inventory must match what was stowed, and in cases such as these, SRC’s will locate and generate cycle count to adjust the bin. Simple bin just verifies a match for physical and virtual. When there is a mis match, a cycle count is created. IRDR is generated by corporate and usually consists of the previous weeks errors to assure that everything has been resolved. An andon is the word used for flagged counter errors. Errors include broken set for when a stower or picker breaks up a case pack; counters can do this too but less common. Incorrect title, which usually relates to a color difference, a quantity difference, and a fluid ounce difference. No scannable barcode and multiple scannable barcode and mislabeled FBA, and incorrect binding and no bin divider. Vendor fraud is incredibly common. I am the barrier between honest and reputable vendors and I can stop the thieves and snakes!

South korean coupang also have department called icqa and now I realized all of bussines are copied by Amazon. In south korean coupang icqa the work is named as exactly same cc, sbc,irdr and so on . Now I imagine coupang's role model is Amazon.

Hi Sue thanks for your video. I started at amazon 3 months ago as a picker on op. I don't mind the job but I want to learn more things and cross train so I can eventually try to work my way up a little. There is an opportunity for me to go from pick to icqa support. The pay is the same. Is this a good move to make or am I better off to stay where I am.

@@lovesue I think pack singles is one the least physically demanding. All you're doing is placing one item in the gray bins. Whereas with count, you have to go up and down the ladder multiple times to count items in bins that are out of reach.
