Plug in the wifi extender beside your router (This is just for setup you can move after) and hold down wps button until it flashes Then click the wps button on your router. Once all the flashing stops they should be synced. Now the wifi that needed a password should be unlocked and you get sent into the setup portal. And after setup you can plug into where ever dead zone is affected. And product should work as intended I hope this helps.

My before is 160 MBPS on the regular WiFi and the extenders is 68 MBPS. Kind of a down grade. I just set it up so might have to return it

@@ethanzimmerman246 68 MBPS is likely what any and every device in that area gets. The "extender" isn't doing anything but connecting to the wifi like anything else but the "boost" capabilities are zero to none. I believe these devices are a overt Scam.

I bought this July 2023, worked like a charm. Switched telecommunications providers 4 days ago, so I had to reset this wifi extender. Once I reset the device I could not connect to either the 2.4/5G netoworks. It says "connected without internet." I threw out the old manual, didn't think I needed to keep it as the initial setup was easy. Judging by the comments here, it seems we're all experiencing issues with this device.

Hi! I had problems to connect the repeater to my laptop on the network. I followed the steps, but I had no network. I solved the problem by connecting my phone first on the network. Then I went back to connect my laptop. I hope my solution helps.

I have the Edtiske Extender Model Number: LCX-ZJ1200-03 and it has two ports, one says Wan port and the other a Lan port , So my question is which port do I use on the extender to connecting to the router with network cable. Yea same no portal for me neither and no help anywhere. Even on my friends iphone it wont work. Just asks for a password like any other wifi connection. Cant get into the portal page to actually set it up. Ffs i can log into any wendys free wifi in america but not one wifi extender.

I need to extend my WiFi Signal to my Man-Cave, which is around 15M (45' Ft Approx) away from the house. I got two other in place all over the house, but they are not strong enough to boost that far. Mine worked perfectly for a month and now when you connect to it it would work for an hour or so and just stop any connection. You need to unplug it and put it back in and the same thing will happen again roughly the same time later it’s a pain in the arse.

This seems to be a pretty hit or miss product. Ive had many extenders in the past and none have giving me this mucb trouble to set up. Seems some people have zero issues while others like myself do.

Its trash. Had it for 2 months took forever to get to even function and it worked periodically and would disconnect and the lights flash and you have to set it up all over again. Pretty much useless, i ended up buying tp-link extender and it worked fine right out the box, easy set up and zero issues. Lesson learned on buying the cheapest extender... dont.

You’re going to want to test out proximity. If it’s too far frog the router the signal will be too weak. I’d say try halfway and see how that works. Worked well for me

There is a WPS/Reset button on the front of the unit. Plug the unit into the wall. Wait for the system light to flash. Hold down the WPS/Reset button for about 5-10 seconds. Release. Wait for the system to reboot.

Watch my video again and follow it closely! It asks for your password for the Wi-Fi. And then it uses that same password for the extender. Let me know if that helps! Triple check your upper and lower case and all of that. Case sensitive. It can be a tad tricky at first.

One of the reasons for that might be that you have your routers WIFI MAC Address whitelist turned on and you haven't included the virtual MAC address of the device you're trying to connect to the internet. . I was unable to get Internet access due to having my whitelist turned on (In other words, only devices that have their MAC address listed in the whitelist can connect to the router). If you turn the whitelist OFF you should see the internet light come on and have access to the internet through the extender. HOWEVER, the added security of using the MAC address whitelist filter will be disabled if you allow ALL MAC Addresses to connect to your router. I still have not been able to find what the virtual MAC address is for each device I want to connect to the extender and router.
