I try to laminate holographic overlay over my stickers but the overlay keeps peeling off leaving wrinkles? D: any advice?

It is not 3 millimeters, it;s 3 "mil". A mil is a thousandth of an inch. 3 mil = 0.003 inches. 3 millimeters would be insanely thick for a laminating sheet (nearly 40x thicker).

Don’t Laminate your Social Security card. Don’t know what state you’re in but in the state of MA they won’t let you renew your license using your Social Security as identification if it is laminated.

I just purchased this I’m in college to become a teacher! Are you able to cut the paper once it is laminated or will the sheet of paper come out once you cut it?

Yes, you can cut it. Mine seems to be holding fine. I think over time if the corners are roughed up it may start to peel.

If it gets caught halfway through and you have to take it out can you still start again from the beginning even though half of it’s already laminated?

yes. but if the laminated part is too bent up it may get stuck again.

my wife is a teacher....this thing is still working just fine and has been used heavily since purchase...also handles aftermarket laminating pouches just fine so long as the are the right size.

@@Reviewsandmore just bought it actually, only time I've had to use it more than once on the same page is if it comes out kinda curled on one side and not completely straight...you're supposed to hold the paper on either end, keep it straight as it comes out. Lesson learned.

it will have a smell to start, but smoking no...sounds like there may have been some residue on the roller. Let it run outside for about 30 minutes and see if it dissipates. If not return it for a new one...probably a QC issue...we are still using ours

I picked up some laminating sheets from Amazon 3ml size the rest I bought from sams. I just used regular computer paper normally. But I have also used magazine paper and construction paper.
