The enchantment "Seal from Existence" is definitely worth considering over "Banishing Light" for any mono-white deck. It also is a 3 cmc oblivion ring but it comes with a juicy ward 3. Swapping a generic mana for an extra white in its cost isn't as restrictive in a mono-colored deck.

Giada is one of my favorite commanders of all time. I took out a lot of the removal in my deck to play a more protective strategy instead (I was getting incredibly frustrated with people killing Giada on sight over and over again). The deck has an insanely high win rate. Angels are one of the coolest tribes.

I bought the etched foil Giada before going up to MagicCon Minneapolis to make a commander deck with her. When I got up there I found the japanese promo version of her and now I'm really torn on which art to use. Thanks for making fun videos Amy!

I would highly recommend swapping in Phial of Galadriel in for Replicating Ring, that extra card draw and life gain is HUGE later in the game to grind out opponents

Herald’s Horn is really clutch for this reason too, having a discount on each angel plus card advantage really can let you explode in one turn

I've played maybe ~200 games with Giada, the main thing is that if you get a nut draw you basically can't lose, I've had 9/9 angels on turn 4 . . . it has some weaknesses but is insanely strong overall

Is Patriar's Humiliation as strong as it seems? Unless someone has ways to sacrifice that creature, it's just dead on the board. Honestly worse for some decks than just straight-up exiling it.

Up until Amonkhet, Gabriel Angelfire was about the only notable exception of a "male" angel. There was also Malach of the Dawn from Time Spiral block. Capenna and Kaldheim are also known to have Angels that are men, but I couldn't tell you any from memory. Didn't include the Forgotten Realms/D&D as it's not canonically part of the Multiverse. Don't want to have another Rakshasa incident either or whatever lol.

BOY do I have a story for Giada players. I have played about 50+ Giada decks with my Etali primal conqueror deck, and I have an OATH to Try to mutilize Every one I see. I hate them. So much. My current record is about 45-5 (give or take). I shall continue my reign. And I will NEVER stop.
