They could've made it in paper by casting a token copy with a base p/t of 1/1 and is black and white and a spirit in addition to it's other colors and types

Not sure how casting a token copy would work… is there any mechanics that put tokens on the stack like that?

​@@TheStanishStudiosactually yes. When you cast a copy of a permanent spell, the resolution is a token copy. The only difference is it isn't affected by doubling season effects which doubles tokens.

24:36 is my nightmare opponent. Granted you're playing something hilariously obnoxious yourself, but I can't stand the kind of person who pulls up to a game of Magic looking to play Solitaire. I only come across this in Arena too thanks to its all but forced randomized matchmaking even for a casual queue like Brawl. Thank goodness for the turn 1 Cavern draw.
