I led creative teams in top advertising agencies in Pakistan and successfully ran my own advertising agency with my late wife for 25 years! Nowadays I am doing branding and photography consultancy. My elders were born here in undivided India, father in Ambala and mother in Shimla. And at the time of partition, since my Dadaji, Syed Zafar Hussain Kazmi was in government service in Delhi, he was ordered to go to Pakistan in the civil service partition. I was born in Karachi, never seen Ambala but heard many stories from my elders about Ambala itself, East Punjab, Shimla, Delhi and Mumbai. Dada and his ancestors were residents of _Mohalla Qaziwada_ in Old Ambala. In our _Nanhyal,_ relatively simple food was eaten, unlike in _Dadhyal_ where Delhi specialties graced our table due to living in Delhi, the fusion of Ambala simplicity and Delhi's rich culture is found in our _Dadhyali_ cuisine till date. At the time of Partition, my father and uncle were training in sound recording and editing in the film world of Mumbai, where my father's maternal uncle, Wasti, was a very famous film star of his time. I can imagine my elders walking in these markets. I wish I could visit some day to India. I wish politics may only be used for love respect and tolerance! Love and Regards for you and for the people of India from Pakistan.
