Excerpts from the interview:
▪︎We have a problem with Ukraine in the first place since the West has started to make out of it a geopolitical instrument against Russia.
▪︎The document that signed by the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and President Zelensky is a memorandum of promises. It outlines British policy towards Ukraine and clearly states that Ukraine will not get negotiated settlement and should fight.
▪︎We respect the sovereignty of Ukraine. We had negotiations in April 2022 on this subject. The draft was stipulating exactly what is non-threatening to Russia and we have almost agreed. But pressured by Boris Johnson (then the British Prime Minister) Ukraine suddenly withdraw from the negotiations.
▪︎We, of course, detest any terrorist activity and what has happened on the October 7, but we do not support what's going in Gaza right now. We appeal that violence should stop in Gaza and negotiations should take place in order to arrange two-state solution. You cannot contain Palestinians, you need to give them a state solution. This is what neither Israel nor the US do not want to implement.
▪︎I think that it's important for the UK in the first place and for the West as a whole to take a realistic view on the situation on the ground [in Ukraine]. If the current [Western] policy will be continued in a sense of sending troops [military equipment], providing money, paying the Ukrainian budget, we will quickly arrive to a point when Ukraine became a failed state. It has no economy because industry doesn't work, agriculture is 40% less, half of the Ukrainian population is now out of the country and has no intention to return.
▪︎I hardly imagine [the military conflict between Russia and the Baltic states]. As President Putin has stated many times we have no intention to fight against other countries in the region.
▪︎The main idea of the US administration right now is to include Ukraine into the EU structures and NATO to put this burden into Europe onto European shoulders. The US should finally concentrate on its own policy and allow other states live in a multipolar world. Finally, we have lots of powers - India, China, South Africa, Brazil, Russia. All of us would like to keep up independent policy.
▪︎I don't see any chance for the conflict between Russia and the UK. We are on a different sides of a chess board. We are nuclear States. What kind of a conflict may arise btw our countries? It’s a common knowledge that the nuclear war should not be fought because it cannot be won.

Many Westerners stand with Russia, Mr. Ambassador. I agree with everything you said, as I'm a student of Russian, Ukrainian and Soviet history. Ukraine's natural place is NOT in NATO. Andrew Marr is a fool and an ignoramus. This issue was already negotiated 31 years ago after the dissolution of the USSR, and Ukraine agreed to stay neutral and even inscribed this neutrality in its Constitution. Nothing new here and except Western arrogance.

During that first week, Arab-Muslim leaders refused to pick up the phone for #Genocide_Joe. Only someone completely out of touch with humanity would think the tiny 11% share of global population in your Western Empire represents the global voice of the world. And *Russia doesn't have 600,000 homeless people.* And *Russia doesn't have 18,000 people aged 25-64 years who die annually due to the lack of health insurance.* And *Russia doesn't have a massive addiction problem that killed 107,000 Americans* from overdose in 2021. And *Russia doesn't carry $34T in debt as does the Empire* -- very soon to collapse into bankruptcy due to dedollarization. In fact, *the World Bank upgraded Russia's currency last year TWICE,* stating that *Russia has the world's #7 healthiest finance sector;* in comparison the World Bank rated the US finance sector #107 healthiest. If this weren't tragic it would be funny. Talk about corruption. Janet Yellen is furiously trying to sell US Treasuries, but failing overall, as the seizure of Russia's foreign assets has alienated govts and investors everywhere who have lost confidence in the Western finance system. Yellen went to China last June with 3 Japanese bows, but you see China ain't trusting the US anymore. All governments fear the US seizing THEIR foreign assets if the US takes a dislike to some disobedience here or there. *China is SELLING US Treasuries,* not buying them. And Saudi Arabia was furious over the seizure of Russia's foreign assets. They realized this could happen to them. *The Saudis are dumping US Treasuries almost as fast as China.* The Empire is cruel and barbaric and has no humanity outside controlling all monopoly capital. The Empire is falling because it no longer commands respect or trust. Hundreds of protests took place across the Empire's European vassals last year involving millions of Europeans disgusted with their globalist leaders who don't give a rat's ass about their people, cultures or countries. In one such protest Paris was literally on fire for a week, and these protests continue this year over the Western-backed genocide in Gaza. The plebes ain't happy. But please, do continue to live in your propaganda bubble.

Those who challenge him seem to have an unfortunate habit of dying, having accidents, being attacked and killed, or end up in prison with ever-increasing sentences. Obviously Putin's regime is corrupt and contemptible!
