I think the issue of north south for sunlight may not be a big issue for us in Kenya, provided the plants are not in the shade ....because we are in the equator..... Our plants get good exposure to sunshine ....

They are as important as pollinators. The advantage of pollinators is that they will ensure that the bees(agent of pollination)are attracted to the orchard through out the seasons while giving you yield.
